Yeah, you would be surprised to see how many posts/threads get deleted.

Its a tradeoff, most posts that are just a pure sale type thing get deleted quickly. A lot of posts are in context with the thread or offer some humor in addition to other content.

I love the fact that I can ignore signatures. Anything over about 1 line in regular font, I click the hide button. Taken care of.

A lot of vendors have valid information to offer. Shutting them down entirely doesn't help. Someone new probably learns a LOT from them and the potential beating they take if their info is at all shady.

we do what we can....and you also included the part of the post about hiring mod's....so I do read the posts that I pull.....why include that in you quote if you were trying to emphasize you point.......

Then great. The only reason why I've been debating this at all with you is because I wanted to be clear that my comments where a criticism on the idea of deleting unneeded posts, not criticizing the job the mods do.

and also stripping signatures.......looks like you the biggest offender.....hahaha

So get rid of signatures as a warning, or altogether, get rid of the PM function, or make it more strict to have the privilege of PM's

I've suggested no signatures for years. The offers section is a joke when people post "look at what I just put in the offers section."

Some people post (and some used to post) in damn near every thread just so their signature and offer could be read.

If we got rid of signatures and did not allow people to make offers outside of where they belong this would be a much better forum.

Funny you mentioned moderators. I have one on my ignore list and it's so much better being here that way. Fewer memes to read.
