Free Living Will Prospecting Idea

Yeah I realize that, but until I can save up the thousands of $$ for marketing, I can spend the intervening time learning what I can.

You don't need to save up for marketing. Get contracted, use some of the free prospecting ideas you've been considering. Knock on some doors. If you don't have money, use what you have.

Get your feet wet and get contracted with your upline manager to guide you through the lead program along with free ways to conduct your marketing.

We were doing that back in the late 90's selling MP's- it works at times- but we've found it doesnt close a sale for you

Has anybody tried this? It would seem like this would work with the lower income/older crowd better, so I thought it would work well for FE.

For those that don't wanna read, basically you mass door hang an offer to do a free living will for people. The idea is that the same reason why someone would want a living will is the same reason they would want insurance. So you fill out LW and then sell them life, FE, CI etc, and then offer to contact their family members (who they've given you contact info for in the LW). You update them on what mom, or aunt whoever has filled out, and offer to do a LW for them as well. Then you have unlimited prospects. Mark claims a 70% conversion ratio from LW to a sale.[/QUOTE]

Be careful using this method. It borders on what is referred to as UPL, Unlicensed Practicing of Law. Some states are more aggressive than others. Don't give advice on Wills other than referring someone to an attorney.
