Free Training

I too will vouch for Frank. He is very helpful and knowledgeable and he likes to shoot.

Frank, I spoke to you a few months ago, and you also helped me, now only if more people would answer the phone it would be even better. I call ages 65-75, You are right the folks turning 65 know it all when it comes to med supp.

I tried to download the YIO demo, it hung up with 12 seconds to go, and that lasted about an hour, so i closed out. I know I have to break down and spend some money.

My question is, if I purchase an outside list, am I able to export that list into "YIO" for future use.

Is there a secret to make the person at the other end of the line pick up the phone?? My voodoo doll don't work.

Thanks

Gerry

I suggest that you concentrate on people between the ages of 67 and 78. Those who are still 66 haven't realized the "error of their ways".

Presently importing data to YIO is not available. As soon as I get v5.0 released we will begin working on that feature. For now, what I do is leave the list in Excel, make an empty column real wide so I can add notes. Once I find a qualified buyer I put that person in the Prospects database. Not the most efficient, but it keeps my Prospects database from being cluttered with a lot of non qualified buyers.

I'm not sure why YIO is hanging up on you. You may want to give me a call and see if we can figure out what is going on.

Frank, I download your free demo - looks good. For the price not a bad software tool to keep track of prospects and contacts.
I am relatively new to the medicare market. I have served 8 months with Pennlife at an office in PA, have sold some Med Supps, like the business, and would like to go on my own. I am interested in your specific training, marketing plan etc. I'm not sure if it is possible to contract directly with some carriers as an independent or do I need to go through a broker and if so, do you offer help with that?

Jeff

I can show an agent how to generate their own leads.

now only if more people would answer the phone it would be even better.

How does the "Do Not Call List" and voice mail impact the phone prospecting?

What percentage of people do you get to answer the phone?

Yes, you can go direct. I am licensed direct with the two companies I use most often.

I am currently not contracting agents but I can help you with the process.

If you can't go direct then carefully choose a marketing company. Make sure that they will give you an immediate release if you request it. Also check around to make sure that you are getting the top commission available. Not all marketing organizations offer the top commissions.

One person I can personally recommend you talk to is Todd King. He is TRK3031962 on this board. His toll-free number is 800.590.7207. He is one of the "good guys".

I would strongly recommend that you not consider going through an insurance agency. It is important that you be the "agent of record" for every application you write.

Moon, Percentages are very low. 1pct to 4 pct actually answer the phone. I have dialed for 2 to 3 hrs at a time,50 dials, and sometimes I will not speak to a human being. I know what to say when someone answers the phone to get an appointment.
I buy a targeted list ages 65 to 85, maybe they are too tired to answer the phone. I call at all different times during the day.

That sounds very unusual. I don't think I have ever had that happen, not that many calls anyway. I have never kept track but I know I talk to a lot more than 1 to 4% of the people I call.

I seem to have the best luck when I start calling around 8:30am. Lately it seems that the most successful time for me to call is between 5:37 to 8:13 pm.

Frank - I'm not sure if people realize what a terrific offer you've made.

(Aside from me) There is no one I know that is more knowledgeable on medicare supplements. I certainly don't know a better prospector.

Everyone needs some sort of a database, not only for clients but for prospects. A "no" today might be a "yes" in a year. For me, the best tool is YIO.

What Frank is offering is for the price of a tool that you need anyway, he will offer training with a guy who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.

Take him up on his offer. Now!:policeman: Otherwise, you'll always be a pelosihole.

Rick
