Yep, also a lot of carriers make agents check a box that says that we certify we saw the proposed insured's ID. (On agent report).
I always tell people "go ahead and grab your ID for me quick just so I know the real you ain't tied up in the closet back there & you're trying to CASH OUT!!

I agree with the removal of gender roles in certain instances
Having women focus on mathematics and engineering, men being nurses, etc etc
This is better for our society as a whole. Where the libs lose me is trying to influence your child to be "gender neutral". Dressing your son up in a dress every day and telling him it's okay to paint his nails doesn't exactly mesh with current society norms and while it's perfectly fine to paint your nails and dress like a girl, it will undoubtedly have a long term mental effect on that child. Children are so dependent on what their peer group believes of them. It's sad to see these fringe libs take a good idea and destroy it.

I would lose the sale every time haha. We do a lot of door knocking and also leaving door hangers around the community for our church. Says "Everybody is welcome."
I get the call ins. I got an email from someone asking if they would be accepted the way they are. They were very vague. So I decided to call them up.
A deep voice answers the phone "Good morning sir my name's Josh....". "I'm a woman..." "So sorry..."
Come to find out he wasn't a woman at all.
He got very mad when I realized what was going on and started referring to him as Sir again.
"The way of the transgressors is hard..."
Society can accept this craziness at our own peril. But I'm not playing this game of charades. Now I'm not looking for the pitchfork or looking to run them out of town. But I'm not going to idly stand by and accept it. And if someone asks my opinion, I'll tell them my thoughts. They're crazy and need help, not promotion by society.
Who'd have ever thought that a major political party would let someone like this run and win a primary to run for governor of a state???
I only had this come up once in my "sane" fly over state. The daughter had moved to California. The mom wanted to put her as the bene. But got all weird for a second. Said she was transitioning to a man. Do we put her as a female or male? Do we use her real name or what she goes by?
Put her down as a she and used her legal name.

why do you care to call the person sir or mam or whatever? like how does it change anything for you. if an adult person decided they want to chop their d off and flip it inside out yes they are crazy but they sure as hell are not a sir anymore.

The insurance agent part of me rates people the way the insurance company i am selling them dictates. Male, female, smoker, family history of heart disease, fat ass, felon what ever.
The person part of me for the most part does not care about their personal life. I sure as hell could not care less who they sleep with. Or if they, their wives or daughters were virgins when they got married. Now, I say mostly because I will bail on someone that I just don't like or know i will not want to talk to. Give me a Gay person over some un sufferable Ultra Liberal or Conservative any day. The Gay guy is just Gay. He is not going to boar the crap out of me trying to convert me to his thinking.
Hell, I have even written non Veteran males.
