I have a 78FNT with a stroke in June of this year. Other than the stroke she seems very clean. She is taking pills for Diabetes diagnosed at age 60. I called her into Foresters and they denied her because of some of the meds she was taking for the Diiabetes, including glipizide, novalog and Metformin.

Other than the meds for diabetes and high blood pressure she isnt taking anything at all. Pretty sharp lady 5 foot 5, 145 pounds, nice home. would Mounumental take a look at her? UHL, Genworth and Americo won't.

Looking at GIWL because of the Stroke is less than 12 mo's

She is also having control issues with the diabetes most likely with the meds.

Vantis $50.56/mo for 5k
Vantis $98.87/mo for 10k
For Vantis, contact Brad at 360 Financial "360" on the Forum

We can help you with the carriers below.
Kemper $81.76/mo for 5k
Kemper $159.35/mo for 10k

Presidential $97.68/mo for 5k
Presidential $192.20/mo for 10k

americo and uhl will not do the GIWL over the age of 75. Will mounumental do anything for her? I am set up with them but have never looked at what they can do.

Monumental should take her graded (if they don't have a beef with the diabetes meds). Rates are nothing to get excited about but better than Presidential.

5K = $88.20
10K = $172.90

Standard Life would have really good graded rates except the stroke is a knockout (with a two year lookback as well).

By the way, I don't have Foresters. Did they just start caring about insulin and/or other diabetes med after their recent rate and UW change?

Had a similar age sex and health conditions and had to use Vantis Life to placed the business.

I just got a call form Foresters and they told me they made a mistake and should have approved her as modified instead of turning her down. So the stroke within the year doesn't kick her out completely.

FYI

I just got off the phone with Foresters and it appears Optical made the mistake when they denied the lady. Her multiple Diabetes meds still would lnly make it a modified. It should not have been turned down.

LH, 78 NS 5k= 76.25. LH, 10k= 149.50. Graded 15 pay, Looks like the rate is very good, even Colonial Penn is 9.99 per unit. LH final expense 60 F,NS. 5k=23. 10k= 43.00. (I corrected my numbers)

I donm't know where you are getting those rates. They are not LH. LH would be $69.60 for $5000 ROP. They don't have graded. Of course MoO would do $500 for less than $50/mo as will Vantis.

I don't don't where those rates look good?

As for the 60 year female, RNA beats that rate by 22%. That doesn't look good either.

I stand corrected JD, my eyes get fuzzy at night. LH does have graded. And if they live over 15 yrs, it is all paid up. I am posting the numbers so we all can compare, the companies. side by side. I am not empressed with monumental's modified rates. they are higher than LH. I have LH, in my bag, but i also have vantis, CSA, Forethought, Settlers, Balitmore life, Columbian.

Where do they have graded? Here the modified is ROP for 2 years for those over 40 and ROP for 3 years for those under 40.

Are you calling ROP graded?

I agree with you Monumental's ROP. I wouldn't sell that either. I don't sell any ROP. If a person has to have GI then I refer them to MoO or Vantis.
