Health Sherpa

I answered all the questions that Healthsherpa asked me. They said I'd get an email that same day confirming insurance through blue cross blue shield. 7 days later nothing. I tried calling healthsherpa and all I get is a machine saying there aren't any agents to take my call and then it hangs up. I called healthcare.gov. It seems that healthsherpa placed 5 applications through Hearthcare.gov in my name. The person at healthcare.gov was very helpful & got my application all set up with the policy that I wanted. She also deleted all the other applications that showed up in my name. So at this point I'm think healthsherpa is a major scam.

And Anita842 who are you my gal? Are you an authority on HealthSherpa? Sounds to me like you know NOTHING. You should delete your post because its written without any basis of fact or knowledge. Sherpas no scam.

Anita, you really ought to consult a FFM certified agent next time. We cost you nothing and provide assistance with such problems. I fix problems with DIY'ers like you all the time. H.Sherpa is a great tool and works perfectly if you use it right. If there was more than one application, you had to be the one to submit them.

Like many desperate DOY I'm sure she just got tangled in her naivete of the subject and procedures.
Near the finish line, I've really gotten fond of HS, really they've done a great job and have helped making the cumbersome application very efficient and even agreeable.

Anita, we apologize for the bad experience. In a very small percentage of cases (< 0.1%) we see issues like the one you experienced due to integration issues with the federal data hub. Could you email us at [email protected] with your application details so we can investigate and make sure it doesn't happen again?

Thanks,
Ning

Out of hundreds of forums on the internet, Anita finds this one, hunts down the little "search" link, locates a HealthSherpa thread, goes through the trouble of registering as a forum member, posts a story that's full of holes, and then disappears back into cyberspace.

It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what "Anita" was up to.

We can't win 'em all Ning!

If she had used an agent we would have been able to help her prevent known issues (ie compatibility with hc.gov) and walked her through the process with Sherpa.

But the most important thing here is that she got enrolled and will be covered starting March 1st... Congrats Anita!
Next time consider using an Agent as there is no additional fee or charge to do so....

ACs onto Anita...Anita please tell us who you really are verses dogging out Health Sherpa..spare us all please

Hello all! A quick product announcement - we've automated document submission followup emails.

HealthSherpa's system will automatically send your consumer an email with details on deadlines and what specific types of documents they need to submit. You can work with your consumer to upload via the "Access" button, or they can send directly to the marketplace. Apps with no followups do not receive a followup email.

The email has your contact information and branding, just like the "Enrollment Confirmation" emails. This now live for apps submitted today and onwards. If you would like to get your past apps processed as well, please send an email to [email protected].

Thanks!
Ning
