My hope is you have the option to split husband/wife applications into seperate plans by next season. 2015 so far was stellar service and results.

Say a husband/wife want to enroll in a plan with a $1600 ded and $2500 MOOP. If on the same plan and one of them has a serious medical event, the MOOP is now $5000 since they are together. If you split them up and one of them has a bad year, the MOOP is only $2500.

Together = family.
 
Hello all! A quick product announcement - we've automated document submission followup emails.

HealthSherpa's system will automatically send your consumer an email with details on deadlines and what specific types of documents they need to submit. You can work with your consumer to upload via the "Access" button, or they can send directly to the marketplace. Apps with no followups do not receive a followup email.

The email has your contact information and branding, just like the "Enrollment Confirmation" emails. This now live for apps submitted today and onwards. If you would like to get your past apps processed as well, please send an email to [email protected].

I've been a Sherpa holdout this OEP and only placed about 10% of my Exchange business through them.

I decided this week, however, to do all of my Exchange business through Sherpa-they have really enhanced the level of support and provides an outstanding platform for independent agents to keep this business under control.

Ning, thanks for providing us with this platform and continuing to enhance the support level, it is greatly appreciated (and the $10 per app price doesn't hurt either lol).

Some agents will be thankful and relieved when Open Enrollment ends this weekend. I'll be sad, because Health Sherpa will go dormant, and HC.gov marketplace will be the only enrollment platform available until October 15th.
