I am trying to place this individual and have no idea where to go. He is looking for term only.
Here are the complete details:
73,m,ns, diabetes w/insulin(3x per day), AIC of 7.5
Gapapentin
3 bp meds(bp under control)
good height and weight
no other health issues

ANY IDEAS? TIA

Due to his A1C being elevated he would more than likely be table rated. He would be looking at a premium of about $600/mo for a 10 year term

You have insulin diabetes, elevated A1C with complications (Gabapentin, indicating neuropathy), add to the fact you have 3 BP meds. Risk is a table 6 minimum, most likely a table 8-12.

Most Term Carriers will decline the case because of 3HBP meds and insulin/Gabapentin with elevated A1C Any Way. Most likely will have a decline in the past 2 years also because this person is not realistic asking for Term Ins.

Look to a minimum Funded UL to last 10 years. Ask the client if they can afford a Standard rate x3 (table ratings). If not, don't waste your time. GIWL will be the best rate for them.
