How could we improve Insurance Forums?

I'm a P & C guy. P & C laws differ from state to state so the loss location is important to a proper answer. Especially auto accidents - no fault vs tort.
That's true for all insurance lines and I agree that people should at least post what state they're in (or where they're writing their case) when they ask a question.

I'm pretty sure @marindependent would vote for this dozens of times...lol.

That would be a step towards structured and controlled posts which is not going to happen on this forum.

It's up to responders to decide if and how they want to respond to a post, as you once told me you did.

Yes, I would vote that people should list the state and type of insurance they are asking about.

Probably true.... but if there were a special section for consumers to post real questions - that might be more possible.

Yep and within that a "Special Post Thread" - different than the regular post a Thread section that would NOT allow you to post without adding:
Type of Insurance
Insurance State
Etc
