How Far Do You Drive for Appointments

I have driven as far as 2 1/2 hours to write business, (2 MA with true ups) but there is enough population within thirty miles of me, I don't have to travel very far to make a living. In Utah 75% of the population live along a 100 mile stretch of highway.

Years I ago, I had friends in Crossville, TN that would drive about 3 hours (round trip) every day to work this area in East Tennessee.. At the same time I had friends that lived in this area that would drive the 3 hours to Crossvile and back to work the Middle Tennessee area.. I imagined them passing each other twice every day and waving at each other. Always wondered why they didn't just stay closer to home and save all that drive time since there was about an equal amount of business being written in each area.

I driveto nearest panera or starbucks. Kindof nice having prospects all over country but just a phone call away

Once your renewals start building up you will be able to afford Wifi at your home which will cut down on your miles...

I drove two hour each way six days this week. I only had six total appointments this week. The rest were doorknocking DM leads. Wrote 6200.

The only thing I can think of is that they had girlfriends in the other towns

I ride the subway 45 min, to the area I mail, then walk to my appointments, I have a nice rolling briefcase, get to do lots of exercise.
