How Grumpy Have We Become?

Part of the process of become a lifetime agent is taking time to read about many different things in our business. Taking part of a forum is NOT that time.".

My favorites are the "I just got my license. What do I do next and do I want to go into life, health or p &c and what can I expect to make in my first year. Also, I have a good friend who is successful in the business but I haven't talked to him yet."

Actually, we have all been there enough so that I am not discouraging someone from looking for general direction but it is good to give some frigging hint of why you got licensed in the first place and what you had in mind that took you that far rather than "I was out drinking at a party one night and woke up with a plumbers license. Why did I do that and now what do I do?

Now that I think of it, I believe that I am capable of being even grumpier in 2010. Maybe I will set that as a goal.

I believe you are correct. Bob. On January 14th I will celebrate the fourth anniversary of my 20th birthday, God willing! D.O.B: 01/14/1930.

Good man.

Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead.

Hopefully you will never become old like Al. You know what they say "you are only young once, but you can be immature all your life."

The cool kids stopped using Chrome and went back to FireFox.

Do you know how to cut and paste without scissors or Elmer's?

For reasons just like those I don't know that the being grumpy is unwarranted. When I first started posting here I tried to be as diplomatic and friendly as possible, what a freaking waste. There are absolutely some top shelf agents on here that are worth being polite too, but you get folks like you mentioned and more that just want to shoot their mouth off about things they don't understand.

I think we should all commit to being even grumpier to those who deserve it and just own it. I think Rick is a perfect example of just that type of mentality. My 2010 resolution, be more like Rick. NOW KISS MY ASS!

My response to Winter, paraphrasing Judge Judy, is that immaturity for most is transitory.

Stupid is forever
