How Many Apps

A better question would be how many leads come from 1000 mailers. Then how many apps from that. Returns vary every time.

Assuming a 1.5% response rate, ie, 15 lead cards, if you're a newbie to sales, but you work and burn each and every card, with a well-prepared presentation and approach, you should be able to sell 3 or 4 deals.

These other yahoos posting in this thread are wrong. You should be able to sell 3.5 policies per mailing...

Yeah maybe out side of Texas. This place is a direct mail slaughter fest. There are 10 thousands agents mailing regularly in this state. Good luck!

I would disagree.....those ^^^ #'s are almost up to 30% conversion rate. Thats nowhere near what NEW AGENTS do in FE in my opinion.

It's all about the LAW/RULE of Large numbers...

If NEWBY 1 is Taking 25 Leads and NEWBY 2 is taking about 13 leads, there is NO way NEWBY 2 will be able to average 1/2 of what agent 1 does...

I take 100 leads a month and write about 24-28 apps per month...

Yeah, it takes a lot of leads for me to do the numbers that I do but I but I also consider myself an Average agent....

Ya I agree. I keep track with a spreadsheet every agent in my Agency

My top agent sells 1 out of 3 leads

Average agent does 1 out of 6

Below average agent 1 out of 8

I just lost my ass agent 0 out of 60
