I just got my Life Agent license here in Texas and I've got an application pending for my P&C license aswell.
I've had my license for about a month. I work for National Agent Alliance(and hate it) and I've bought 22 leads. Of those, some direct mail, some Telemarketing leads, I've only written 1 policy and I'm not sure if the commissions will even cover the cost of all the leads I bought
It seemed pretty easy to quote and write up my client when I got there but my question is, What else is out there? I've heard a lot of lead sites are hit and miss but 22 and 1? netquote? insurance leads? door to door? what has proven to work?
NAA, where should I go? they're only giving me 55% commisions for my policies until I "recruit" someone. From there it increases by 5%, assuming they even write policies.
Also whats the average success ratio you other life agents are getting as far as leads bought vs policies written? maybe i'm just doing things wrong but idk.
