HRA REIMBURSMENT

Super Genius
I have a question for those of you doing MA. Are we required to complete HRAS we will not get paid for? I know that it was stated
it's mandatory for DSNP but not sure for other plans. I don't want to do any extra work that I won't be reimbursed for.Aetna has stopped payment but Humana has continued thus far.

Not mandatory for either, the carrier will call and attempt it if you don't.

No...just submitted an app yesterday and didn't complete it. I don't do things for free for these companies. And to be honest, that application would've been going to another company (as a big EFF YOU! for yanking away the HRA), but they had a prescription drug that was far cheaper with this one. I couldn't do it in good conscience. But normally, the other company would've gotten the business if everything was equal or close to equal. I do love how they yank away pay/things form us, in an attempt to save money, and think none of us are noticing....as if we were dropped from the stork's mouth, yesterday. To the moronic MBA's in the corporate suites that read this, we ALL notice, we ALL don't appreciate it, and you will be paying one way or another in other arenas. That $70x30 apps, which equals $2,100 probably cost you $250,000 in lost business from me. Just some things to think about.

I thought CMS took HRA away. Not the insurance companies.
