My Humana book has been picked over this AEP with plan changes much more than any others!!
Up until now, the ones that I have changed to another Humana plan have been the ones that never pick up their phones or did not take a liking to me (their loss). This letter might explain why.
I appreciate this loyal member who tipped me off to this swindling.

You have to assume a small percentage of your book will fall off every year due to adverts like this.
You must keep selling to acquire new customers to overcome the attrition. No different than any other business.

This is why I usually steer clear of Humana, if possible, unless the plan will truly benefit the client above and beyond the others. This is absolutely insane. They've always had shady business practices towards agents.

Make sure you are always coaching new and existing clients to ignore any mailers that tell them they have to call the company to learn about plans, or to make plan changes. If any insurance executives are still clueless as to why we agents have trust issues.....I give you exhibit A.

Stuff like this is why need to to keep gaining ground in the political arena, to ensure independent agents are not cut out. With Republicans in control, they are firmly for small mom and pop businesses like us. We need to pounce.

Yes I've moved some Humana clients . I've gotten 6 or so calls from clients telling me Humana is aggressively calling and texting me when they disenroll . Humana is also sending them texts " somethings wrong with your enrollment " to call them when they disenroll several clients are telling me . It's part of my presentation about how the carrier we move from will " call you , send you letters and might even door knock you to try to get you to stay " . Answer nothing , talk to no one but me , fill no mail out .

Doesn't look like "Humana" to me.

I relooked at the mail out . That's just a generic call center app that's duplicating Humana's colors saying you can sign up for a Humana plan. They're Using the color's so people think it's Humana . I don't believe this is Humana studying it further .Humana book always has the lowest persistency because they have so many plans anyone can flip you . Example in some areas they work the came out with a higher HMO giveback vs the ppo. So any ppo you run into you can flip it
