IMO if anything I believe the market point model would be expanded to the aetna branded products.The reason the merger made sense was that Humana is strong in MA but not much else and Aetna is strong in other health lines especially EGHP plans but not so much in MA .A big part of Humana's success in MA is their great training and management of their internal sales force.Not sure but I believe Aetna doesn't have much of an internal sales force for MA if any- at least in Fl. they don't.

Nothing. Aetna normally gives control to the conquered company like they did for Coventry. Coventry took over Agent Services/commissions, plan design and provider network, and it's all crappy.
