If ACA is Repealed how Much Would You Save?

The old bankruptcy card.

The average unpaid medical bills in BK filings is around $13k ............. about the same as a very cheap new car.

Unpaid medical bills rarely lead to bankruptcy except in the minds of idiots that keep repeating fairy tales.
Go back and do a little non partisan research -that means NO BLOGS OR MEDIA OUTLETS you already agree with-real research-you will find in All Federal Bankruptcy court juristicions going back quite a few years the MAJORITY OF ACCEPTED DISCHARGED DEBTS HAVE BEEN MEDICAL.!!!

Does that include situations where the policyholder is also the AOR?

"Miss Navigator, I didn't understand what I was doing and gave myself bad advice".

Can this person also make an E&O claim against themselves?

But what if the subsidies are outlawed? Seems like an opportunity for Congress to present POTUS with a fix (and maybe a few other goodies) that he might have to sign if he wants to save the law named after him.

The HC.gov navigator probably can't even see who the agent-of-record is. But they'll take great joy in hearing that an agent gave her bad advice!

Correct Somarco, if subsidies are outlawed, El Presidente's __________ will be in a guillotine with Congress holding the release rope.

There are plenty of people who qualify for cost sharing reduction and still opt for a Bronze plan because of the premium.

I just had a guy who rather take a free Bronze 6000 plan than an 87% Silver for $110 per month. Nothing I could do to change his mind.

If you got a sizable subsidy why the heck are you on a bronze when you can a bigger discounted price on a silver?
Did an agent help you?
Yes, I had an agent help me. My Boss, he knows how much I make and can't afford to pay anything for insurance this year, next years will be different. I will be able to get a silver plan.

Wow! That was not nice. Good job being a jerk about it!!
I never said I was an independent agent. I also never claimed to be experienced in the whole Obamacare debacle. I started selling before all this went into effect and I did well. But I never claimed I was on my own either.

There are a lot of people on this forum that can be not nice. Most of them are also the most experienced and can give the best advice if you can get through their snark.

They've seen many people come into the field and think it would be easy, then complain when it's not. When you deal with that day in and day out, you start to get burned out on it.

You didn't say you were an independent agent, but you didn't say you weren't either. When I get insurance for myself as an agent, I make sure that I know every single point about all of my options. It helps me when I go to other clients, but it also means that I can afford my coverage. It sounds like you weren't as thorough on your own, and now you're complaining about it. You could have just been making a statement originally, but it's not how it came across.

Your "home page" from your forum profile FL Insurance Solutions | Personal & Commercial Policies indicates that you're with a well-established agency. Hopefully the boss man or lady will guide you correctly. As I said before, you can get a SEP for 7/1/2015, if you really want one.
