I'm An SEO Expert. Ask Me Anything !

ok gang i'm back...ask away or I can do a simple site review, code review whatever you want...just ask

How important do you think it is to have a seperate moble website?

Example www.rosenthalfiles.com does not display correctly on cell phones, i pads or anything but windows explorer.

The program that I used to make it, is xsitepro2.

It says it can make another website just for moble phones. and list another link on my homepage for people that dont use explorer.

It put gaps in the beginning of some pages.

Is there any type of coding I can put in the website to make the gaps go away?

I cant find any extra coding in the start of the page that causes gaps on certain pages of mine.

Also, I hear that is it important to make changes on your website often. That is why a blog is so good. That you want the crawler to come back and visit your site often. What do you think about this

Also, last week I was on the 1st page, 1st link of google for about 76 terms and now all of the sudden I'm like the 4th link and I didnt change anything... Why do you think this is?

Having a mobile version of your site is a top priority. One of the big changes for SEO 2012 is Google is going to start ranking mobile sites higher when a search query is done on a mobile device. Many website platforms have an easy to use mobile version plugin. What platform is your site built on?

Changing content is equally important as having strong back links. Stale sites have stale ranking...this may be the issue as to why your ranking has dropped...keep your site fresh and up to date and to can hold your rankings for longer periods of time.

Unfortunatley I do not have any xsitepro2 experience. Mainly Joomla,.Drupal, Wordpress, and Magento.

I made it with xsitepro2. It has a thing to do it, but I'm afraid of messing up the website. I just never thought about it until last month with someone showed me the gaps on the top of some of the pages when using cellphones, ipad or other things.

xsitepro2 allows me to apply terms to each page.

But I made it to help other insurance agents.

What terms should I be going after?

I dont have the list here at work. I have it saved on my laptop at home. That is where I make the changes to that website on.

I was told that I need to make sure the terms I use, need to also be someone on the page.

OK. Why not. I ask this question every three months to different people so here goes:

I write an original article and submit it to Ezine. It gets approved and I get a backlink or two. Is it worth submitting it again to 5-10 other respected directories? It will,of course, be duplicate content.

And finally, What is your quest? What is your favorite color? Oh...never mind.

Yes it will be duplicate content. What I have done and worked well is I will submit an article to Ezine. Once it is live I build some links to that article. That way you are giving more weight to the links from that article. Skip sending it to other articles...at that point you are just spinning your wheels.

Well tell me about the site. What is the site's purpose. You need to update your meta tag title ASAP. but before we do that I need to know the gist of what you are trying to do.

Actually, it makes sense. You want to put your best content on your own site. Well-written, grammatically correct, focused on a key word or phrase. Check spelling etc...

My Ezine articles never have and never will appear on my websites. I write them myself and they are more general in nature and specifically for uninformed readers and backlinks. I don't expect traffic from them.
