IMB Threatens Vermont Over Single Payer

The People's Republic of Vermont will pass a single payer.Agents&brokers, need not apply..The ice cream will then cost about fifty bucks for a small cone;tax included.

Ben & Jerry's (whose Montpelier shop is directly under the 2nd-floor insurance dept) will wiillingly take the wealth per cone to share with their causes.:1biggrin:

A very biased article, I'm not sure if the author could have possibly leaned any more to the left. There was one valid point, IBM won't be subject to tax as long as it is a self-funded plan. A little bit of wanting your cake and eating it too to avoid the tax if it leaves the self-funded plan. However, I'd like to see something a little less biased before condemning IBM.

It's a huge liberally biased article but if you read it well you'll see the IBM is simply trying to make sure they're not double taxed.
