I've started compiling a list of directories and other places insurance agents can easily get links to their sites from. Most are free and don't require a reciprocal link. You can view the list at:

Insurance Agent Link Directories and Resources

I plan on keeping the list updated. If you know of more agent directories or other link resources, let me know and I'll add them.

Thanks,

Aaron

Let me know if you come across more directories or insurance resources.

I do a preliminary scan of the site to make sure it doesn't seem fishy, but I'm not doing a deep background check or checking pagerank.

For the most part, I'm linking directly to the sign-up page to make it as easy as possible.

Do you guys think that it is worth it to pay the $5 average cost of these directories for quick inclusion etc. I have done so numerous times but as I am sandboxed it is hard to see an effect.

You will be wasting your Money, Trust Me. This stuff no longer makes a difference.

Against Dave's advice I did Business.com on Friday (I figure it can't hurt as they are still an authority though I am certain he is right that it is no longer a good roi but as I am sandboxed why not), I will let everyone know if I see anything amazing though I am certain I wouldn't recognize anything anyways, if you consider that I do 100 things for seo a day and haven't sold insurance in a fortnight. By the way has anyone heard about this health reform thing? I think George Bush has bit off more then he can chew with this one.
