Is anyone actually having any luck with Final Expense Live Transfers?

I started out Face to Face - it's the same thing over the phone - you just talk to more people. Over the phone you talk to people you never would face to face and vice versa.

I'd say over 90% of the fe prospects I've talked to from live transfers don't have other policies to replace or review. And even if they did, there's no way they are going to find the policy and do a review with me and their current ins company. So for me, policy reviews over the phone won't make live transfers successful.

Still wondering if anyone is having any success on final expense live transfers???

The short answer is no. The only different answer will come from uplines trying to sell live transfers. Or leads that schedule themselves. :1wink:

Buying live transfer leads from a 3rd party who has no interest in you selling a policy is a losing proposition. The call center is focused on profit per lead at the expense of a quality transfer.

100%. I have ran call centers/agency and just the agency. Call center is looking to push as many clients that they can with the lowest quality that you will continue to buy.

That's why they give you a 60 second buffer and have their Transfer reps give a 30 second intro.

Ultimately, the most profitable I have been is controlling the inputs and the outputs to and from the call center.

That being said, if you can find an IMO that is in business to sell policies and not make money on leads you may be ok.

I'll add to this since my last post in here. Most transfers are being transferred again to another agent/agency the following week even if the call center claims they don't. It's rampant. Even with our own data and QA process, we couldn't protect our live transfer program from these practices and ended up shutting it down in February.

I don't think FE agencies propped up on overseas live transfers will last another 1-2 years. Our data shows it's a losing channel when you factor in persistency.

With that said, live transfers from the big lead companies are legit but you'll pay $55-ish per transfer which eats into acquisition cost, but certainly still works from what I hear. I would only buy live transfers from those types of places who generate their own data and call on them.

Unless someone has entered the market that I'm unaware of, Northstar and PPG are the only FE live transfers I'd touch that come from an Agency/IMO. They generate the calls themselves. Almost every other agency is sourcing offshore, claiming it as their own live transfers, taking $5-$10 profit per transfer that they sell to their agents and seeing declining results. They'll keep selling them to their agents because of that $5-$10 rip on every transfer.

It's hilarious . 3-5 yrs ago you were one of the few outfits doing fe telesales . Now everyone and there mother jumping into it . One of the longtime members on this board swore to his grave by direct mail amd hated fe telesales . Now he says Dm is terrible due to the skying cost and the quality of the lead. He's now going wild on their Facebook leads and clients setting the appointment. Tons amd tons getting on this . Tells me competition for leads is fierce . Are you seeing lead costs rise ? With the price of gas and dm leads rising I think it's pushed more people into this .

Yeah it's funny, but I enjoy it. I've seen some of the die hard f2f crowd come around to finally accepting FE telesales as legit. Especially last week in Lisbon on the Liberty Bankers trip where they announced the top 4 IMO's for persistency in 2021 were telesales firms and we received an award for top IMO persistency. I found myself in the hotel lobby till 2:30 AM after the awards dinner schooling f2f agencies asking a ton of questions.

I couldn't tell ya if lead costs are rising on Facebook leads. We don't touch them.

I saw your ad on Medicare gurus looking for someone to run your Medicare side . I assure you the telesales side of mapd is nasty for telesales from a persistency and compliance side working leads . 90% of mine and everyone I know business is replacing phone people on mapd . If you do Medicare on the phone I'd highly recommend you stick to med sups . This isn't fe . It's 100 times more vicious and competitive. Matter of fact when I sell fe I feel so calm and relaxed .

Appreciate the warning. We've been in Medicare for almost 2 years now. We see the persistency on the popular telesales lead sources (terrible), but cross-selling to our current client base has proven itself so far.
