Is it worth getting appointed with Celtic?

I would say no.
Celtic was built to be an online individual carrier that was trying to go direct to cut the broker out. Now all the other carriers have online capabilities with better products/customer service and higher commissions.

Celtic just sent me a Christmas card. They are the only health company this Christmas that did so. Maybe now I will be motivated to write one more case with them in 2009 than I did in 2008. In 2008 I wrote ZERO cases with them....Let the 'boutique' health insurance hacks write their junky plans with clunky underwriting...I would seriously like someone on this forum to defend their cumbersome business model.
