Is United American Competitive?

It would have to be. Some of these companies are famous for quoting their commissions based on the monthly premium for emotional impact.

So...a 200% commission based on a $300/mo premium = $600. $300 X 12 = $3,600 which means the true commission is about 17%.

Yes, the branch mgr. will write you a check for double the premium as soon as you bring it back in....then the home office will charge you back big time when the client cancels in the first year.

I had a contract with UA at one time for folks who could not qualify for major med. Never had the heart to pull the trigger and actually recommend them. Coulda sworn my comp was in the 30 - 35% range (as earned) but that may not be right.

Mine says:

Up to age 35: 50%

36-50: 40%

51-63: 30%

For FlexGuard

Granted I just have the contract, I don't even know how the product works or doesn't work...lol.

I stand corrected on the %. it was 200% for up to 35 yo, then dropped to 150% for 35 to 50, then dropped to 100% for over 50 to 64 from what my memory serves me.
