That's a good start-every new insurance agent goes through a process to figure out how to conduct their business and it's not unusual for agents to wind up in situations that are wrong for them (I've been through that and so have many others on these forums).
There are plenty of threads in both the Senior and Final Expense forums about how to get started-Medicare sales is a slow build, Final Expense can be much quicker, find someone who can help in your area and you will have a good career.
