So why did you move to Vegas? Serious question, I'm considering relocating and it's between Vegas and SoCal.

I like:

-the area
-playing poker
-lots of entertainment options
-great restaurants
-hot summers are better than cold winters
-close proximity to SD/LA/Lake Tahoe/Scottsdale/etc
-cheaper cost of living than where I'm at now

California would be nice, but I can't bring myself to live in the People's Republic over there and have to deal with all the BS rules and regulations, not to mention the high cost of living. My car also has no chance in hell of passing California's emissions inspection and I didn't want to sell it or put it back to stock.

And my nice jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Room had coffee maker so no early trips to the 6 AM coffee shop in the casino. $12 for 4 cups of coffee :err:

I was, as you can tell, extremely excited by the whole thing. It got weird when Brook started charging up his laser-beam eyes, though.

We had a great time - looking forward to the next go-round!

Over 3 days of gambling, I came home even! I consider that a win.
Actually, flying to Vegas and staying at Ceasars didn't cost too much. Round trip air & 3 nights, $431.
It's once you get there is when the reaming begins.
Cheeseburger/fries/drink $20
Cup of fruit $12
Cup of coffee $4..........
Thanks to Rick and his "Diamond" status with Harrahs, we were able to drink/eat for free in The various Diamond Lounges on Harrahs properties.
At least Rick is good for something.
