LBL Direct Express Rate Card

Todd since you seem to know a lot about Gw I see nowere in any literature were it says both premium and death benefit are guaranteed. Every imo stresses that the "policy can't ever be cancelled if you pay the premium" Their Brochure only mentions the premiums are guaranteed and never mentions the death benefit is also. Most Gi plans always stress both. Are both guaranteed?

As far as I can tell, you're correct. I can't find anything that says the DB is guaranteed. I wish I had a sample policy to look at that may address it. For now though, I don't think there's anything written on it.

I'm assuming it's a whole life were premiums and face guaranteed ?

I did get those sample policies (Thanks Wes). I couldn't find the 1st thing in there about the premiums being guaranteed.

The closest thing I found was this:

PREMIUM PAYMENTS
General
The premium is payable in advance at our Home Office. The first premium is due on the Policy Date. The first premium may be
paid in advance of the Policy becoming effective. After the first premium, each additional premium is due at the end of the period for which the preceding premium was paid. After all premiums have been received for the years payable as shown on the Schedule of Benefits and Premiums (Page 3), no additional premiums will be required to keep this Policy in full force. If requested, we will provide a premium receipt signed by one or more of the officers who are designated in the Policy.

As far as the DB being guaranteed, this is what I see in the policy:

We will pay a lump sum Death Benefit to the Beneficiary of this Policy on the death of the Covered Person. The amount of the Death Benefit applicable to the Covered Person is the amount shown on the Table of Values for the year in which death occurs less any Indebtedness and past due premiums.

I'm pretty sure if they could RAISE the premium it would have to be disclosed in the policy. The company is very unorganized and nobody their knows anything

Duh... Wanna know whats worse? Writing trans, its a tradeoff, id rather advance on de than write trans all the time. Im not a customer service rep and prefer selling vs. fixing.

Rodger that! But I seem to write more and more of them each week! ...and I'm spending too much time and ink. :1arghh:
