Leadco Exclusive Leads

What makes a quality lead? To me it's the ones you get on the phone, if you get people on the phone (who have an interest) and don't "sell" them, you suck, not the lead source. it's the same people on the Internet hitting sites (law of averages) looking for insurance no matter where they end up.

Think about it, they have some level of interest or they would just put bogus info in, wouldn't they? That's someone who's not interested. Even earlier the "life lead" that was a gas card, they were interested in life, that's a bad lead?!?!?!?
Sell e, life or partner up with a life guy and share revenue.

It's not that the leads don't work and the tools don't work, it's that YOU DON"T WORK!!!

Go generate your own leads, cold call, stop complaining, how did people write business before the Internet? They didn't whack off on this forum, they just worked so get off your lazy butt and work.

I detect great anger in this one. Yet the force is strong in him.

I just spoke with someone that called an "gold exclusive lead" last night and the guy said he had filled out an online IQ test and at the end it asked him if he has health insurance. Perhaps this is why I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from my leadco exclusive leads over the last week and a half.

Sorry Stacy but if I want to take it in the @%% I can do it myself.

:mad::mad::mad:

It was a exclusive lead.

They were not looking for insurance they have group insurance. Tried to still shop it for them picked up a referral of his sister though.

The guy used to be a mortgage broker so he wanted to let me know about the lead he used to buy them to so he knows that is not what he considers a lead take an iq test then trick you by answering if you have health insurance. Funny thing is he said yes. But the lead send he didn't have insurance.

I had that same conversation the guy told me the name of the site. I requested a credit. The response I got:

Thank you for your recent request for credit.
Let me take a second and go over the conditions which must be fulfilled.
1. No Good number
2. Bogus Info (No such person)
3. A Decline in the Underwriting handbook for Height and Weight
4. Cancer, Stroke, Heart Attack, HIV, pregnancy, Other Heart condition (these are filtered)
5. Lead not from your contracted area

All leads are Search driven and we record the clients IP address.
If the client states they didn't request quotes, I can furnish the IP address to verify.
Unfortunately we can not credit these requests simply because they did request it.
Thank you for your support, and please recognize that we have the best credit policy in the business

Just be careful not to kill a decent source just because you hit the occasional snag. There by far is no perfection in this business.

I ran PPC campaign for close to a year and it's amazing what some people will say when you call 'em.

I'd get stuff like "oh, I filled that out by accident." Really, you filled out a page-long detailed inquiry by accident?

If a pattern emerges that's one thing. But give some of these companies a chance to correct.

This board is the "60 Minutes" for the insurance community. I can see someone running up to a lead company owner and shoving a mic in their face:

"Tim, can you comment on the fact that your leads are re-sold to 12 agents?"

We can picture the lead company owner putting his briefcase up over his face: "No questions."

(Waking up from major nap........)

What's this, John??? Now you're picking on me, too??? Dang, I can't catch a break anywhere.:arghh:
