Leadco Exclusive Leads

UPDATE: Stacy left a message indicating he was not aware of what "that particular" vendor was doing (Gas rebate crap). He said he would get rid of the guy.

Which means they are affiliate leads.

I would not recommend buying an "exclusive" affiliate lead which is also fed to Ehealth, unless the price was very low - maybe under $5.

The only thing is...Leadco continues to advertise:

Self Employed targeted Leads
Health Insurance
8.95

But the fact is that only 25% (or less) of the leads are self employed.

Finally...You can make money with shared leads. But you have to stay on top of the lead companies and watch them like a hawk. And yes...they do listen to you.

Sad, but the guy swore he didnt use affliates, I knew better, couldnt produce the volume that is needed, also that is exactly why he has a liberal return policy. Junk Leads are Junk Leads

This board is the "60 Minutes" for the insurance community. I can see someone running up to a lead company owner and shoving a mic in their face:

"Tim, can you comment on the fact that your leads are re-sold to 12 agents?"

We can picture the lead company owner putting his briefcase up over his face: "No questions."

Yet another case where I know agents who are doing very well with them and agents who have canceled.

Exactly.

Measure ROI - everything else is just for entertainment purposes and really does not matter in the long run.

It's near impossible to talk about leads sources. I do have an agent friend who's doing extremely well on Leadco exclusive - has been using them for over a month and consistently closing 1 out of 5. I have another friend who went nuts - horrible results, blanked on 12.

There are just too many working parts including your area and skill level.

Some agents are like 7/11 - never close. Of course, it's never them - it's the lead source.

To separate fact from fiction YOU need to try the lead source.

For what it is worth,,,I just received a health lead moments ago. M 50 F 49...both NS...Good health and they live about 10 minutes from the office.

After exchanging the usual pleasantries (You know...Boy, it was hot today...We're right across the road from you...How about those Devil Rays...) they informed me that they actually had no interest in health insurance as they had current group coverage.

They went to a site that offered a free gas card and indicated that they wanted a LIFE (not health) insurance quote. Sheesh! Well, I quoted West Coast Life and ING who were the most competitive options for them, and there's about a 1 out of 3 chance of getting a sale.

But Stacey...C'mon! You say you don't use affiliates and you don't play the games that others do...Say it ain't so!

I just spoke with someone that called an "gold exclusive lead" last night and the guy said he had filled out an online IQ test and at the end it asked him if he has health insurance. Perhaps this is why I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from my leadco exclusive leads over the last week and a half.

Sorry Stacy but if I want to take it in the @%% I can do it myself.

What makes a quality lead? To me it's the ones you get on the phone, if you get people on the phone (who have an interest) and don't "sell" them, you suck, not the lead source. it's the same people on the Internet hitting sites (law of averages) looking for insurance no matter where they end up.

Think about it, they have some level of interest or they would just put bogus info in, wouldn't they? That's someone who's not interested. Even earlier the "life lead" that was a gas card, they were interested in life, that's a bad lead?!?!?!?
Sell e, life or partner up with a life guy and share revenue.

It's not that the leads don't work and the tools don't work, it's that YOU DON"T WORK!!!

Go generate your own leads, cold call, stop complaining, how did people write business before the Internet? They didn't whack off on this forum, they just worked so get off your lazy butt and work.

i will never, i mean.... NEVER!, tell anyone on this site who i use

Aw come on Charlie. You will tell me.

filled out an online IQ test and at the end it asked him if he has health insurance

So did you ask what his IQ was?

My guess is not very high . . .
