Lincoln Heritage Clean Sheeting

LH managers do train their agents to clean sheet. I know this because I used to work for them. I was also told to tell clients by managers that you are their financial advisor. I never did and would never. Unless I had the license. Most of the agents are just brainwashed to believe what they are being told is correct by management. When clearly you have to pass an exam and this is part is on the exam. I have been to countless homes of people who have Lincoln, or rather, had Lincoln, and most times the app is incorrect. Intentional or not who knows.

I had an interesting experience yesterday. I'm visiting a lead and we start talking about insurance and how much she already has...and she doesn't seem to remember. Swears she has an old $5000 policy from her employer when she retired...can't find any paperwork on it either. Then she tells me an agent was nice enough to come over and help her get a policy about a year ago...she thought it was $5000. We look at the policy and it's LH $4100...paying 71.15/mo...modified. She still has a full year to go. I explain that I can get her 7000 immediate coverage for the same rate with my carrier.

Then it gets really interesting. She starts telling me that LH doesn't charge her $71.15/mo for her policy...it's free. I'm perplexed so I ask, "What do you mean it's free?...what did LH do for you"? Then she proceeds to tell me that last year this agent comes out to her house and convinced her to start drawing a monthly income from an annuity (that he sold to her about 5 years ago). The monthly annuity draw is exactly $71.15. He helped her with the paperwork of course. So this LH agent sells this lady an annuity many years ago, then comes back last year helps her start drawing $71.15 monthly from that same annuity...then helped her use that money to buy a $4100 Modified policy. LOL...She thought LH was taking money from her bank account for the monthly premium...then putting it right back in her account a few days later. I explained exactly what that agent did...took about 20 minutes of explaining...once she understood it...she wasn't happy.

Generally I kinda fell sorry for the newer LH agents but when I read something like what Birdman wrote, it makes my skin crawl. A seasoned life insurance agent scamming an old lady with her annuity money is just pathetic. This ass-hat needs to be reported, and maybe get his ass kicked too!

I love how surprised everyone is, haven't they been doing the same stupid things for a while now? It should be expected by now. The only thing that surprises me is Greg, who comes across as a genuinely good person, still sells for them.

If you are talking about Greg theinsuranceman, he sells for Senior Life, not LH..

That's kids' play compared to Prudential. Years ago they got in big trouble as they were teaching their agents to go out and find premium by replacing their clients' existing Prudential policies and use the cv's to fund new ones. As far as whore houses go, Pru took the cake.:skeptical:
