Lincoln Heritage Clean Sheeting

I ran into a lady today at her sisters place, client of mine that wanted me to check her coverage, since she was visiting and didn't have her policy we called LH.

F,57,T,7K,issued 6/15 by LH for $36,1st day coverage.

Well turns out she is on albuterol, couple of meds for anxiety, depression, back pain.

She tells me she has not been diagnosed with COPD,but her doctor gave her the medicine to help her with shortness of breath which happens occasionally.

Is COPD modified with LH ?

If they do script check like you say they would pick up the albuterol.

Albuterol can be used for asthma too.

I love Lincoln Heritage.....they're one of the easiest carriers to replace. Not just because of their high prices either. I've come across so many LH policies where the app was written incorrectly. I've had smokers listed as non smokers (not to the clients knowledge). I came across one a couple of weeks ago where the agent checked "no"' to the diabetes with complications question even though the client has neuropathy from diabetes at the time of the app! The client called the agent and the agent told her that neuropathy was not a diabetic complication. Moron.

Not sticking up for a clean sheeting LH agent, but diabetes isn't the only cause of neuropathy.

"Peripheral neuropathy is damage to or disease affecting nerves, which may impair sensation, movement, gland or organ function, or other aspects of health, depending on the type of nerve affected. Common causes include systemic diseases (such as diabetes or leprosy), vitamin deficiency, medication (e.g., chemotherapy), traumatic injury, radiation therapy, excessive alcohol consumption, immune system disease, Coeliac disease, or viral infection. It can also be genetic (present from birth) or idiopathic (no known cause)."

That's good information! However, hers was a direct result of diabetes.

So whatta you do when you encounter a prospect who:

A) Has a $5K level policy from Lincoln Heritage, who
B) Has COPD & is on oxygen 24/7, smokes like a blast furnace, and who
C)Has uncontrolled diabetes, weighs 400 pounds, is confined to a wheelchair AND who
D)Had a stroke 14 months ago?

The policy has been in force for 1 year. He's 57 and pays $27/mo.

I told him to make sure he doesn't die for at least another year. But then,
I would've told him the same thing if he had bought a Gerber from me 1 year ago.

Looks like that's one you just leave alone. Can't win them all.

Ran into a 5 month old one like that were gerber was $65 and the other clean sheeted was $93 as it was a clean sheeted smoker. When I told him to write a letter and they'd rescind it plus he'd get $500 back and gerbers 35% cheaper. He loved it. But most of the time I just walk. Even if its clean sheeted and 1 yr old and i'm about the same price doing it right I walk especially if its an iffy case.

Can you smoke and use Oxygen at the same time?

So many ailments for ROP plan.
If he dies under 2 years it will be rescinded and premiums returned anyway.
