Linkedin Passwords Leaked. Change Your Passwords !

I've received several email that were disguised as coming from Linked-in. The are all asking for me to verify my email address. I ignored all of them.

I'm assuming that this may be part of the whole scam.

I received an email from Todd King, asking me for passwords to my Bank Account...Is this normal for an IMO to request?

Well, I had my password hacked on linkedin! Good idea to change it all the time. Never log into anything twice.

I changed mine as a precaution, but there was nothing on the LinkedIn home page about this. Might it be a hoax?

Perhaps LinkedIn didn't have time on their own to verify this information yet. However, I agree it cannot be a bad idea to change the password as a precaution. It's always a good idea to just change up your passwords every 3-6 months as you never know when security will be compromised online.
