None of the ones you listed are completely captive. You can pick up a contract from any of these places without having to go captive. (I don't know AIL that much, so I could be wrong about them).

I know TransAmerica has a captive division and I think MoO does as well

United Insurance Company of America is a captive Home Service company... Don't know if you would classify them as FE but that is primarily what they write when it comes to life overages.
