This is all about FE. Can they sell other FE?

My bad, I forgot this was a FE thread. Yes, Bankers has been selling their Conseco sister's Med Supps for a while(Colonial Penn).

They are not captive. I would consider them "quasi-captive", heavily discouraged but still allowed. We have a number of agents who are primarily with them but still write other carriers through us.

Bankers agents can write other companies, but it all must go through Bankers. In other words, they dont have an MA, but they have a contract to sell MAs.

There is a large Columbian agency in North Jersey that operates on a captive model. Excellent hands on training, meetings, "free" leads, low/ assigned contracts and you only sell Columbian. They do really well..

Makes me want to buy some leads in that area PA Bill! I run into a lot of debit business that I guess you can call captive via united, lbl and cfg.
