ListShackPro down for the count?

This thread is disturbing. I checked my account and it looks like I got out in the nick of time. I had used them for a while but found that I got a LOT of returned mail. I checked some of the local ones and even people I know that have lived in the same place for a very long time had wrong or undeliverable addresses.

I hope those of you who are still getting charges will be protected by your credit card coverage.

Ouch.
Problem with alot of these deals is they use ACH... which is different than just calling the credit card company.

Why just suddenly go dark? Why not a message to loyal customers .... "Thanks for your business ...."

I can't help but wonder. I haven't dealt with Josh for a couple of years now, but I only had good experiences with him. I canceled mine myself on his website. Any time I contacted him he responded right away.

When I first started using them, I sent him an e-mail after midnight and he responded within minutes and fixed my problem (the problem was I'm bad with technology). I asked him if he ever slept.

I was always happy with the lists. Too bad it went south. Might be a good reason, like his health.

Another guy that has responded to me after midnight is Kace Vang.

Some of these guys really do burn the midnight oil. I never expect anybody to answer me until the next morning when I send those midnight e-mails.

I used them briefly a few years back to generate my own leads by phone. The lists were probably around 80% accurate. The price was low enough that it was still worth using them. Josh was always very responsive and helpful. I was moderately successful reaching people on the phone using an automated dialer and setting appointments. But I just didn’t enjoy spending a whole day on the phone fishing for appointments, so I cancellled my subscription. I had no trouble whatsoever. So, the recent problems described don’t seem characteristic. Did he possibly sell the business? I was considering using them again to try my hand at direct telesales. I wish Josh would come on here with a response!

This creates more questions than it answers, but this was posted to what looks to be his Facebook page on 8/3:

"Not really sure where to begin, but it doesn't appear there is any law enforcement in Los Angeles capable of even attempting to resist the corruption. Here are some facts:

California is allegedly a state that is part of the United states of America and should abide by, at a minimum, the most basics of constitutional law.
The LAPD is largely comprised of individuals that have not sworn an oath to do uphold the constitution.
I was arrested (without a warrant, probable cause, or any due process), held in handcuffs for over 4 hours (handcuffs behind your back cause damage to your shoulders over time and that is basically a form of torture (google "stress positions")).
The reason they claimed I was being held so long was that they couldnt determine who i was... but I am very easy to identify. I had my Virginia driver's license, my company car, I have tattoos, and I have been arrested before so I have my fingerprints on file with a virginia police department (never thought that could be a good thing). I also provided my social security number, had credit cards, and just about everything else one could think of. I even have very unique identifying tattoos, so to claim they couldnt identify me was a complete farse.

After spending what seemed like about 8 hours chained to a bench I was transported to "77" which I would later wall out of and see it was a school area with bail bonds people around it. When i arrived at "77", i was taken into a room where there were about 5 or 6 other "arrestees" (a term they use to describe people in order to psychologically break you into thinking you are actually arrested), and each of them had two or three purporting to be police officers. These folks were nothing like any law enforcement officers I have seen, at least for the most part. The "officer" that was "transporting" me was named bermudez and purported a badge number 42287 I think. The "arresting officer" had the cereal number "citizen", but the name was simon shamtub. The same numbers were used on the "prisoners reciept", but mind you, they said I was being "detained", but then eventually said I was arrested and I was left in solitary confinement without food or soap. I did not have any chance to make any phone calls and when I asked the jailers for food or a call they always told me I couldn't do it. Eventually I was released, but at that point I was dumped off at "77" in the middle of nowhere and in order to get back to where my car was parked I had to find a taxi and pay $60 in cash (thank god I had it) to get back to where my car was parked (3111 ocean front walk marina del rey). When I arrived I saw a note on the door that was hand written stating that my car had been towed. On my receipt from the towing service it says that "Danny Levy" was the manager of 3111 ocean front walk marina del rey that reported my 2015 aston Martin v12 vantage s "abandoned" and listed the phone number 213.254.5775. I dont know who that is, but my car was parked in the garage of 3111 ocean front walk marina del rey, ca and I sure as hell didnt abandon it. I also had my backpack with my valuables inside the property. When I picked up my car there were sleeping bags and stuff from the people who had been staying there and it looked like the police department was just abusing the process as a way of trying to steal.

The "All City Tow Service" at Culver city charged me for two days of impound, plus after hours release fees and all in it was $550 to get my car back when it had been towed illegally.

Questions:

If the police impounded my vehicle illegally and made me pay over 500 to get it back, is there anything I can do?
I was held in solitary confinement in a prison without food or soap, is there anything I can do?
If local police are all working together as organized criminals, are there any other U.S. law enforcement agencies that can help?

Any suggestions on what type of an attorney I should be looking for or where to even start?

Tl;dr: if you care at all about your personal safety and rights as a human, I would never visit LA.

P.s. the next day I was at breakfast and saw the guy claiming to be the police chief on the scene and his shirt said "hernandez", but the next morning at the venice whaler he had a British accent and appeared to be there with his wife and two other younger looking ladies. So I took a picture of him. How the *** does this even happen? It's so over the top, I would have a hard time believing someone telling me this story"
