Looking for a Database Recommendation

it is Sage Act, not an MS Access product, can be found for less than $200, a memory hog for the 2013 version, more $$ to access my your smart phone. You might want to find an older version on Ebay if you have an older computer. There was at one time a financial services version. Sage recently sold Act to another company, may be some support issues for a while. Usually in the top 5 for CRM programs, especially if you like\ are comfortable tweeking it to do what you want.

Radius is great and rapidly developing, just be careful about storing PHI online.

I just started using zoho Crm and like it so far. It is really cheap only $12 a month per user. If have to have some basic computer skills and understanding to get it setup but over all it is super easy. It is pretty cool you put any new leads you get in the system and once you have closed the deal you just push a convert button and it saves it to your client list and you can attach files like PDF applications or quotes so the are easy for you to look up later.

Side note.... They do have a free version of the Crm so you can try it out and see if you like it.

I recently tried radius and have not been impressed. I have used Agency IQ for years. I tried switching over, but at this point will likely stay with AIQ. Radius just involved more steps to do some of the things I could easily do with AIQ. Example being a quick view of recent emails sent out. WIth Radius, I had to go to each lead and view if the emails were opened. AIQ has a page for recently sent emails. I can view the last (50 at a time)emails that went out and see if they were opened.

As far as customer service, I think it's a tie. Neither was outstanding, but again I am a single user. I can send out campaign emails in AIQ and monitor who has opened emails or opted out. Radius' layout was a bit simplistic to me. I can sent up my autoresponders series to include "to do's" and "reminders to make calls". Radius will only do emails. With AIQ, once a lead becomes a client, I change the status and it drops them into my "new client email series", puts them in my newsletter campaign, and sets a reminder to put them in send out cards.

With ACT, you diffiently need a good laptop. I have an Intel Core i5, solid state hard drive (very important with ACT for speed), 8 gig of ram. I use Companionlink for android phone sync with outlook and hte built in ACT/Outlook sync tool. I also have Northwoods Sales Automation bundle (a bear to learn, but once you learn it, you can automate just about any process).

I basically use ACT for my clients and use AIQ (since it's server based) for my auto responders and email campaigns.
Hope this helps. Consider Agency IQ also. I pay a bit more, but I have yet to find anything that will beat what it can do.

Cost for agency IQ? Learning curve? Does it manage commissions?
So you pay for both a email marketing program, crm, mobile adapter for ACT and a sales automation program? What is your total investment dollars not including time to ramp up?

Inreverse,
I would say that the cost is much more for all that I have involved, especially with ACT + Northwoods Sales Automation bundle. These are one time costs. Act is $200?, Companionlink is $60-70, Northwoods is $500? Not exactly sure, but that's what I remember.

As far as commissions, that is one thing AIQ does not do. They are $35/month and $125 set up fee. I signed up with them 4-5 years ago. My rate is $30/month.

As far as cheap and fast setup, Radius would win. As far as total all around usage, I would go with AIQ. I have a friend who is a lurker on here and uses Radius. We did a screen share and he liked the way AIQ worked and is considering switching. I also have a friend on here who switched to Radius from AIQ, but he uses his more for drip marketing.

Obviously, the only thing I can say is my system works for me. You may not require/want as much. I would try both and see which works for you.
