newby loves, loves lincoln heritage, especially if you happen to write business in KY & IND...well thats what I heard.

Royal Neighbors (RNA) is fine company.

And here I was thinking you were one of the helpers on the board.

That was helpful. Just because you didn't see it as so doesn't mean it wasn't.

You need more than company names. You admit to not knowing about the FE market. If you are just given company names you will still not know about the market and will only have names of companies that service a market you don't know about. Do you think those companies will train you??:twitchy:

Here's a briefing:

If you just want the highest commissions: American Memorial
But then you lose sales because if they are healthy they can get better rates.

If you just want the lowest rates: LaFayette, And sometimes Transamerica. But then you lose sales due to strict and slow underwriting (by FE standards)

Ifvyou just want the loosest underwriting: Lincoln Heritage. But then you lose sales due to rates again.

If you just want to sell by phone: Senior Life under Greg. But then you have to listen to Greg AND the jury is still out but I believe they still have high rates too PLUS take a beating on commissions and renewals.

The truth is: to do FE well you do have to select 3 or more companies that compliment each other and then learn them like the back of your hand. Every appointment you need to fact find to determine which company is going to fit them well. If you get good, you will have VERY few chargebacks. If you cut corners, you will THINK you are doing great for about 3 months and then it will all come crashing down on you.

Good luck with it. It's not brain surgery but it's not flippin' burgers either.

Thank you all for the input.
I do need to learn a lot about the market and that is partially why I am here.
I would like to have companies to service all potential customers. Good health, ok health and also the ones in bad health. Commission is always important being that we are paid on that but a company that pays 100% and only allows a small percentage of the people is worse than a company that pays 75% but allows more customers. I may get paid less per sale but I make more in the long run.
I will look into the names provided as time allows.
Thanks again and keep them coming if possible.

If you ever have a weird case you can always email [email protected] and let them look at it.

I had a guy with Barrett's Esophogus and they said they would take him on either F.E. or Term.

You don't know what you are talking about. I don't have a downline and make nothing on any agent anywhere.

While they are not your "downline", you DO make a very comfortable living off of the efforts of many other agents.....LH, SL, etc...:D
