Ok, there was this independent broker I thought of working for but he doesn't give advance, I thought of Metlife , American General but all i really want is some basic training, but I mean on the field training. I have my family who needs insurance now, my sister, my brother, some friends I'm pretty sure i can sell insurance to but I can't seem to get my self hook up w/ a company. Is anyone living near Castro valley, CA or San Francisco, San Jose who is willing to field train me?

In checking back on alot of your posts you seem to need money NOW! This probably ain't the business for you to be in. Usually the agent is the last one paid in the process.

With most insurance sales, the quickest you'll see money is around 30 days after the customer has paid.

It's kind of a reoccuring theme in your posts, annual commissions as quickly as possible. While this is honestly what we all wish for, it really isn't what the business provides.

Good luck to you. I do think you may be barking up the wrong tree.

I'll second that... it will take you a while to see any cashflow. Speaking from the senior market, specifically Part D and MAPD plans (ugh), 30 days is a gift. Realistically, in that market several months at best (AdvantraRx $$$ from November, where are you?!?!).

I was actually trying to be nice. On my life cases it is usually 60-90 days before any green. My group, if the client is a day late that commission goes out to 60 days. Health also at renewal always skips the first renewal month and pays it 60 days later.

This simply is not a business for those who need a check NOW. It honestly doesn't work that way.
