LTC Financial Partners

Don't think anyone missed it. Good company. Yes. Great????

A rated with a 79 comdex score. Good, but several are greater.

IMO;)

Just because it seemed like some people missed this comment.

LTCFP SAYS: UNBIASED: We do not, like many agencies and associations, represent just one carrier or push a pre-chosen policy. We represent several state-certified carriers, and they're all very solid and reliable, the very best in the business. We screen them and agree to represent them only if they meet our high standards. And we offer all types of policies currently available.

Do they mention they don't represent the biggest player in the market because they can't?

I see that as biased in my opinion. A company with 50% of the market share and they can't represent them. Thats not a bit biased?

How about "we can only represent 50% of the market because of our contract". Or "we feel the biggest player in the market does not meet our high standards".

CALTCAGENT,

"we feel the biggest player in the market does not meet our high standards".

Actually, I could see them saying that. Just because GW is 50% of the market doesn't mean they are better at anything, except getting their product to market better than anyone else. Does that make them better in all catagories? I personally don't think so.

Not that there's anything wrong with getting your product to market better than anyone else.

Just sayin'

There are other companies with higher ratings and as good and in many cases richer benefits at lower rates.

What I don't think they want to say is that they don't sell GW because they can't. Did I say that?? Excuse me. I let it slip.;)

What about when genworth is the best choice from an underwriting standpoint? LTCP will have limitations.

True.

Like Clint Eastwood said, "A Man's got to know his limitations" That is theirs.

But, how often is Genworth's underwriting a determining factor, all else being equal? 10-20% of the time at most.

LTCP will have limitations.

The point is, an agent with LTCFP cannot take a Genworth app and put it through LTCFP.

However, an agent can be appointed with Genworth, take an app and submit that app through another marketing organization, which I'm sure every LTCFP agent does.

I wonder if their contract allows them to write Genworth outside of LTCFP. I know some may do it, but I'll bet they are going against their contract with LTCFP.

If they provide leads, training, their own "proprietary stuff", they usually prohibit not getting a cut of the business.

Anybody know what their contract allows?

"T-score = -3.9 ===> Genworth

Two big deals this year......and no where else to turn."

Yankee, I'm at a loss as what you you mean by those statements. Can you enlighten me? I'm a little slow today.:twitchy:
Thanks,
