Just recently I've been getting my renewal commissin statements from an insurance carrier for people that I wrote in 2007, 2008 and 2009. On the renewal statements it's showing (just as an example) $50 renewal for a plan that I wrote in July, 2008, it shows $50 renewal pd to July 2010. If I were to move this client January 1st 2010 can the company come back and charge me for those 7 months of 2010? I ordinarilly wouldn't even care about this but there are quite a few renewals, and I'm just wondering if this is another tactict that insurance companies are using against the agent to prevent them from putting them back into a med supp or another MAPD plan.
I know usually there's no chargeback if a client cancels within 3 months, but what about renewal chargebacks...anyone know anything about this
