Manhattan (CUL) Adds netword to Dental, Hearing, Vision

Looks very similar to the Aetna product...Careington Network, pool of money concept for D, V & H.

Does this plan offer the same discounts on D, V & H as Aetna's?

The Aetna product DOES NOT have a pool of money.

A pool of money is when you can use the annual max on any of the 3 categories, or split it up.

Aetna has a $200 limit on Vision every 2 years and a $500 limit on Hearing per year. That's not a pool of money.

Manhattan is adding the Careington Maximum Care PPO Dental Network to their DVH. Clients will still be allowed to sue any provider they choose and the plan will pay the same if they use a non Craiington provider or a Carrington provider. The only thing is the discount given by the Carrington provider my save the client even more. Sounds like a good thing for the client.

It's neat that they don't have a problem with clients suing any provider! A lot of insurance companies would be afraid they'd lose business if you did that.
