Good gravy this conversation took a turn. My dad always said he didn't cheer when he gained a new client and didn't cry when he lost one. He's spent about 45 years in the health insurance business. I lean on him alot for advice because she's seen the government work to take the money away and companies follow suit. Most years, I lose clients that I kind of expected. It doesn't bother me as much but this AEP is different and I think it has alot to do with Wellcare stealing money off the top of next year.

Florida will probably have a SEP most of next year due to hurricane Helene.

FLorida still has an SEP from 2022... Hurricane Ian... just used it yesterday for a PDP change (from those assholes at Wellcare)
