Tomhighway-

I will have to look into the "bravo" plan to see if it is popular in my area.

And NO, I did not know that MA plans cover an entire county. Thank you very much, that will save me a lot of time researching.

ALSO, can someone clear me up on the DNC list? Or is this a "sweet spot" no one likes to talk about? HaHa

we call in 35 states. i have 152,265,032 phone numbers for those 35 states on the DNC. but we have two shifts of 80 plus reps a shift calling. we wouldn't even dream of taking a chance. but thats just us.

I don't blame you. I don't take a chance either. I call within a 35-40 mile radius. I check the numbers on the T65 lists I get in because I get lists for 6 months at a time and numbers that aren't on it today may be on it a couple of months from now.

If I find out they are on the DNC list, I'll send them a personal letter with one of my business cards in it.

good idea. i have to update every 90 days, so at six months out seems very prudent.

what area code(s) are you calling?

Rural areas...

The actual zip codes for my 1st list are...

44253, 44847, 44857, 44826, 44889, 44275, 44867,44807, 44811, 44846, 44090, 44883, 44214, 44217, 44677, and 44667.

Leadconcepts.com is where I bought the list.

Within these zip codes I was able to get about 1133 numbers.

I am just nervous that I will eventually run out of numbers to call. Would it be a good idea to purchase lists from other companies, or would there be too many duplicates?

doesn't leadconcepts.com scrub for DNC?

Yes, the numbers I purchased are scrubbed. The thing I am worried about is being able to purchase list after list without running out of zip codes after a year or two.

I have used 16 zip codes is about 1.5 counties around me. There are only 88 counties in Ohio...

i would cross that bridge when you get there. by that time, you should have a clearer picture and a more diverse marketing plan.

I have a sales genie account and i am registerd on the DNC registry also to scrubb my lists. I am only aloud 5 area codes free then they want to charge me $50 per area code per year.
Is there away around this? You said you call in 35 states? That would cost me a fortune to add all those area codes to my DNC registry.

you can register with the DNC.org and get 5 for free, i am guessing that is why you have been 'allowed' 5 now through salesgenie.com. it is expensive, but so is the 11k per violation fine. i can't imagine the attorney general going after a single insurance agent. but, i guess i wouldn't want to be the one to find out. they would us though, we have already made the short list.
