Medicare Advantage enrollment

I have a med supp plan F with a company that no longer sells med supp so the premium is escalating. If I decided to go to an MA will I have to wait on the next open enrollment?

at a quick glance, I don't see any Special Enrollment Periods available in McMinn County, Tn.
Why don't you just get a plan F with a different medsupp carrier?

Can't pass underwritting. Copd with 02...CHF....current Home Health Care....My only hope appears to be to go on an MAPD and then use my GI right to go back on Med Supp.

If that's the plan, please disregard my previous comment about finding a broker to help; just call the companies directly. Good luck.

Don't know that that is the plan but is an option. Would want the agent agent that helped with the MAPD to also sell supps so if I did go back to a supp they could get the commission from that. Or, if the company did not pay commission on the GI I would even be willing to pay them a fee out of pocket. Don't expect a person to give me benefit of their time for nothing.

Search Medicare.Gov for a 5 star plan in your zip code.

I believe Humana has 5* plans in McMinn Co.
