You may be joking but there are a couple guys that I would definitely travel to hang with for a day. And I have no plans to work their schedule. Two of them live in good BBQ and music areas so that helps.

Several of these guys have a tight team approach. Ask to join them. True independent is a lone wolf life. Easy or hard.

Thanks for all the great advice, you guys. I am restarting selling insurance after selling home improvements. I used to sell LTC for Genworth, but now I think it might be better to sell FE and MS/MA. I'm in Sacramento area. You guys are great!
It might be BS most of the time, but not all of the time. I can truthfully say that my Med Supp and FE business stayed on the books and my persistency was over 90%. That's because I did Med Supps and cross sold FE. If you do it that way your persistency should be higher. If you are mainly doing FE leads then your FE persistency is going to be a lot less.
Either way, if you don't have a high 13th month persistency with Med Supps then you're doing something wrong!

When cross selling FE to Med Sup clients I absolutely agree your persistency will be higher.
My original comment was geared towards FE only.
