Missouri Agents Vote Yes on Prop C 8/3/10

Fellow Missouri agents just a reminder to go out and vote yes on Prop C on August 3, 2010.

Fair Ballot Language:A “yes” vote will amend Missouri law to deny the government authority to penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful healthcare services. The amendment will also modify laws regarding the liquidation of certain domestic insurance companies.

I think this is in the wrong forum. Also, why? You do realize that some folks simply can't afford to have health insurance AND eat, why kick them while they're down?

Isn't that the point of the proposition, to prevent the government from penalizing someone for failure to purchase health insurance.

Der der derrr. Yip. They should just do what VA did and ban the requirement to buy health insurance altogether. That makes much more sense.
