Monumental Direct Mail Drop

Agree to most of all this for sure, only thing, I just ran into a lady yesterday that just singed up for Mutual of Omaha GI, 55/F rate for 15k was only 36.6/M in FL. I shopped around, problem is she is over weight with several meds including for her heart. Monumental probably will take her but the rate is 42.31 is she can even get the preferred....for a GI policy hard to beat that..something isn't right..anyways, I told her to send it in and when you get the policy call me and we can go over it to make sure "it is what it is". I mean Gleanor is 49/M for 15k on there close to GI plan.

Depending on how overweight and what meds, I would look at RNA (no weight requirement), 5-Star liberal weight chart, Oxford, etc.

If you can get her coverage at 1st day you have MOO beat. She doesn't really get a $36.60 payment with MOO. Because she has to give them a DOWNPAYMENT of $870 first AND wait two years for the privilege of getting insurance at that rate. She has to flush $36.60 down a toilet 24-times over 2-years and AFTER she does that and only after she does that will they actually sell her insurance for $36.60 per month.

Now Mrs. smith...let's see what rate you really qualify fit with a company that's not going to include unattractive gimmicks in the fine print that are designed to take your hard earned money and give you nothing to show for it.

Rna will not with her heart meds, so my best bet Monumental.

Newby, great information. I haven't ran into a MoA GI down here yet so was unaware of all the gimmicks...gezz and to think I just got licensed with them, now I see why they don't have independents sell that garbage. In effect, it sneaky marketing tactics.

That MoO GI plan is not garbage. It is the best deal out there for the person that has to have GI. Well, them and Vantis are about the same. I just referred a lady yesterday to either of them. I gave her the number for MoO and Newby's number for Vantis.

But, if the person just buys the MoO that could get immediate coverage then it's a different story. I do run into that quite a bit. In fact I saw that this week also. The lady was getting ready to sign up for MoO. Nothing wrong with her and she didn't know it was a 2 year deal. I was only about $5/mo less for her but she has immediate coverage.

That's why MoO doesn't want us selling it. Thy want to sell it to healthy people. They know we would only use it for the people that can't get anything else.

Agree, however what Newby was suggesting was the fact that it was a down payment gimmick. The lady didn't tell me anything about that, I am glad I told her to send the payment in so I can look at.

I think you may have misunderstood Newby's point.

Yes, I got it now, just different wording. Actually that's very creative and impressive way to present it. I will definitely have to try that next time.
Problem is she just has a savings account, and she bulked on the idea of having it drafted...so not that exciting to write this case...past experiences of SA are not very good at all.

Alright soo.... back to the Monumental mail drop experience that I am having... It looks like I am ending up with a .5% return... Off of my first 2000 pieces...
