Initial Sales Commission – Inclusion of PDP Conversion

Humana will take all the way to September to pay up!

Thanks for sharing that, MrMack!

It is amazing CMS makes the rules and then cannot follow them. I think they should be fined or have to pay interest.

BIG JACKS!

Can't you all see what this leads to? After one more round of this reindeer game by CMS/Congress 2011 will see the extinction of agent involvement with Advantage. As I see it, CMS wants seniors to experience no direct contact with a licensed agent. A smart company now can save oodles of $$$ by buying ads in radio, tele and mail and have customer service enroll them in the comfort of their own home. This will lead to ultimately just having CMS do the enrollment upon request. Viola....no need to have commissioned agents and huge reductions in marketing costs....hence no more "fraud and abuse."

When 2010 plans are rolled out, get ready for increased copays, no glasses, no health club memberships, no perks at all because CMS won't tolerate it anymore. That leaves the agent leg of the stool to be eliminated in 2011.

Coventry is already charging me back a percentage of commisions that I haven't received yet. How screwed up is that ?

UHC says our Jan report is supposed to show up on Wednesday and Feb-June is supposed to show up on Thursday. No idea when money will be transferred, usually 1-2 days after.

Well, what would you suggest we do? I have spoken to an attorney regarding my commissions and I was told there was nothing I could do except wait for CMS to send the correct paperwork to the companies I sold.
If you have any ideas we would love to hear them.
