Most Competitive Term Companies for $1mil and Above

100.22 month. You couldn't get me to write MM unless it was the 2nd to last ins co. Had several friends work there. Haven't heard a single good thing about it, other than their FA's here in town do well.
(#1 would be Bankers life of course)

Emply was talking about a rate be got at Standard, not P+. Apples and oranges.

I have a couple years experience with AIG non with Mass. Based on your personal experience what makes AIG a better term option for him than Mass?

I feel with Mass your paying extra for the name, and have heard negative underwriting stories. Customer service, time, and price I suppose when comparing Mass to AmGen.

I gave him preferred AND std rates... apple's to apple's is what was presented.

at a standard rating amgen has a 32yr male at $44.45 mo. For $1.2mil. So much for mass mutual...

I was not questioning Empty's, an agent, researched choice. I am guessing conversion was a thought for him as well. I may have quoted him AIG as well. More likely ONL. For the conversion options. But that is a guess at best. We have very little information. So just opinion.

Why are you arguing what another agent picked for himself? He research stuff in depth, I would guess this is the best fit he found for his family.

Yes, you eventually quoted preferred as well.

There is a huge difference between conversion options at AG and Mass. Really, there is no comparison. Also, Mass has an EXTREMELY strong wavier. I would bet dollars to donuts that AG doesn't even register in that regard.

Yes, you'll pay more for Mass. But if conversion is a concern and you want a wavier worth something, Mass blows away AG.

I got 1.2 for $83 mo. with wop from Mass for 20 year term. Compulife has standard at 90 and not sure if there was wop on there.
If we are comparing apples to apples - same age - etc.... then your quote is great! Why would there be such a difference between quotes, though? Over a $1K per month vs less than $100 per month. Something isn't right.

30 year difference in age will do that. :) Empty is a youngster of 32 years. Dan's quote is for a 62 year old.

They're both good companies. Its like this. I shop at Wal-Mart for everyday necessities, and Meijer down the street for quality food. Arguably, neither is `better` than the other. Just like life companies, it's all in what your looking for!
