Curious - on MAPD - is a 3-day inpatient hospital stay always required prior to SNF?
What about with Original Medicare?
Has anyone ever had SNF issues with Medicare as primary, when no inpatient stay preceded the SNF?

Full disclosure - MMofOH is a bit "above" the rest -- I don't think every carrier goes as far above and beyond. But many of the small regionals, in my opinion, do a great job of it.

The regional MAPD plans are almost always better and so is the service. They have to be super competitive because the big companies can just outspend them in marketing.
