Most Lucrative?

JD, I always though Tubby was a decent game coach but only an average recruiter. Obviously, you disagree. However, don't forget the Billy Gillispie detour either. Fortunately, they corrected that quickly.

Nothing wrong with BCG. He is twice the coach that tubby ever thought about being. he wasn't given a chance at UK. But it worked out well for us since we got Cal.

How is tubby a game coach? Sending Sheray Thomos off the free throw line in a tight game in the tournament and saying afterwards that he didn't know it was rule?

But lets just say he is an X and O guy, so waht? Vince Lombardi said that guys that can write up plays area dime a dozen. Every college coach out there can diagram plays. Coaching is about having a plan and recruiting to that plan and then motivating the players to run that plan. It's also about player development, guys getting better because they play for you. tubby does none of that. Look at him now in the Big 10. He hasn't had a winning record in the conference since he's been there and won't this year. Go to any Gopher message board and they are ready to run him out of town on a rail. What do they say? He can't/doesn't develop playuers, he can't/doesn't run any kind of discernable offense. Last night he got lucky as hell and that will buy him some peace until he lose the next game, which he will.

JD, I may not like the way calipari does business, but I can appreciate your love of the UK Wildcats. I have the same affinity for my Horns. Good luck the rest of the way!

What's not to like about how Cal does business? He has not had the first NCAA sanction at any stop. He puts the player's interests above all other things. Players improve under his coaching and UK wins.

He has made UK into a destination for every player in the country. This 8 year old kid they are saying wants to go to UK. Who knows if he will be a D-1 prospect but that's his dream now. That wasn't happening after pitino left.

I was a Cal fan when he was at UMass and Memphis. I wish we had hired him when Pitino left.

With P&C you get the same commission for the life of the policy. So if I get 15% on an auto, I'll get 15% forever, as long as the policy stays on the books.

But 15% of $100 a month is a long ways from 105% of $50 a month. I sure do miss those fat FE commissions.

The biggest commission I've gotten in the last year for one P&C policy was $540 for a single auto.

The last FE policy I sold before converting to P&C the commission was $760. Just got the last month of premium deposited to my account a few weeks ago.

That last FE commission I was referring to? That was a Forester's commission. I also had Monumental and a couple others.

My FMO was Senior Marketing Specialists out of Missouri. Good guys, I would definitely recommend them.

FE wasn't my main focus. I was primarily selling med supps and FE was more of a 'by the way' product after having a med supp conversation.
